For the 4th of July this year we went with Kam's family to Heise Hot Springs to camp for the weekend.

We miss you Daniel and Natalie!

It was a fun little place! I had never been camping anywhere but in the woods haha but we had a nice grassed camp spot and were walking distance from the hot springs which had a couple pools, hot pools and a slide! Which was nice because it was SO hot!

July 25th was a day in history.... it was the day that I sold my high school car I had been driving for 8 years, to a salvage yard :'( My little maroon, '98 Nissan Altima and I had a good run together! I didn't know that you could develop quite a relationship with a car.. but apparently.. haha, I was pretty sad to drive away from it :( Even though I knew that meant that I got to get a new car!

July 28th was the day that I became a big girl and got a new car! A family car! :D

So kind of a funny story, when I was looking for a car I wasn't finding the one, and we were going to be going to Utah on the 28th and decided that we would just go to Utah and look. But on the 27th I, I mean Justin, (thanks Justin!;) ) found the one in Elko Nevada! And luckily the store it was at in Elko had a store in Twin! So i was skeptical but I called and asked if there was any way that they could bring it from Elko to Twin... and they did! But first they brought the wrong one haha but we finally got to test drive it and signed papers the next morning! Just in time to go to Utah!

So then we went to Utah. Kam went to a family reunion and I went to a Shania Twain concert with Tam, Trish and Mac :)

Before the concert, we met Mac and went to dinner at Olive Garden... I had only been to Olive Garden once before and it was probably like 12 years ago! And I'm pretty sure I only had salad and bread sticks that time.... Oh My Gosh!! I had been missing out!!! Olive Garden is freaking Delish!! (Ya'll probably already knew that though ;) )

Well that was our July, I'm sure it consisted of a lot more! But sometimes I'm not so good at taking pictures and that's what sparks my memory to post about :/ haha whoops!
