Baby Update, Army Promotion, Fair, and Birthday!

So for the rest of August.....

I hit 20 weeks! Half way there! I have been able to feel baby move since 17 weeks and Kam could feel her kicking shortly after! I have this weird thing with milk lately... I LOVE it! Haha and I have never been a milk drinker, ever! But I'll drink glasses of it all the time now! 😊 I also had my first emotional breakdown haha I was driving, luckily only with the kids, however, when I was telling Kameron the story later I started crying anyways 🙈 haha! So I was driving and we were stopped at a stoplight, and I am usually NOT a honker, like I just don't honk my horn in traffic, but the light was green and the car in front of me wasn't going so I honked.... I WILL NEVER HONK MY HORN AGAIN!!! 😭 haha 😔 I think the car in front of me was stopped because there was a tiny little kitten in the road and when I honked I scared it about to death! Worse than it already was! Poor kitty 😔 The poor little kitten was so scared and running in the road just trying to figure out what to do and where to go 😭 And I instantly just started to legit bawl haha 🙈 The picture is still engraven in my mind 😔 I still get teary eyed when I remember what that poor little kitten looked like, so scared! 😥 You can bet if there wasn't a TON of traffic lined up behind me I would have gotten out and saved that kitty! Kameron asked me what I would have done with it... I said take it to the pound, or home 😜 haha
21 Weeks

Kam took over Command of his unit!
I had to work but was super grateful I was able to run out real quick and be there for the ceremony!
Tammy and I couldn't decide which picture to keep our eyes open in 😜

We took the kids to the show ponies, pistols, and pistons at the fair... and it was a hit! We loved it!!

And Kam turned 31!!
We started the day off with the gym, then went to the temple, and then to dinner
Modeling his new Oakley's for me 😍

Until next year!
I mean next month 😜

~Baseballs or Bows~

On Monday August 12th we found out if we were going to be having a baby girl or a baby boy!!

I know you all already know, but here's the story 😊

After talking Kameron into not finding out the gender at the ultrasound we decided to be surprised as well when we did our gender reveal! I had seen the idea of a baseball revealing the gender and fell in love! So that's what we did, I ordered a pack of baseballs, one pink, one blue, and themed our reveal party Baseballs or Bows!

Monday was busy! Daniels family was in town so I got up early that morning and made sugar cookies for our reveal party and then we headed to jump time with all the cousins!

After Jump Time we went to Arctic Circle for lunch and then Kam and I went to our appointment!

Up to this appointment we hadn't had the greatest techs, they just weren't real engaged and kind of just acted like you know we were just another patient, just another baby, which I know they had no clue about how much heartache I had to go through to get to this point, or that this was our first baby together and my very first baby, and what a miracle this baby was, but I was so happy when our tech doing our anatomy ultrasound was so nice and caring and acted like this was a special day for us!

We got to see every part of the baby, except for between the legs of course 😜, but got to see the cute little face, hands, arms, legs, brains, belly, kidneys, profile, feet, umbilical cord, and we even got to see baby take a gulp of fluid, stretch, and suck her thumb... sooooo freaking cute!!! At one point during the ultrasound that Kam and I later talked about we both thought we saw boy parts! But apparently we were wrong haha and we thought we heard the tech say "he" once but weren't too sure on that one. She did an awesome job of saying "baby"! I was super impressed!

When it came time to look at the gender anatomy she told us to close our eyes. It was kind of hard, not the not knowing what gender it was, but I didn't want to miss a single part of the ultrasound, but it was well worth it! Afterward she asked what we thought it was and we said boy and she said your gender reveal is going to be fun! Which really could go either way, boy or girl haha

My two favorite pictures!! Her cute little feet crossed over one another and her cute little hand up by her face! When the tech got that shot she said "Oh what a rough life in there" Haha I am most definitely already biased!!
After our appointment we picked up and the kids and headed home to get ready for family pictures! We packed the day as full as we could! 😜

After family pictures we headed back to Grandma and Grandpa Kings house for our gender reveal party! Thanks to everyone for helping me frost cookies, make drinks, and set up!

We had a blackboard with everyone's guess whether baby was a boy or girl! And as you can see, or not really see 😜, there were three votes for girl and all the rest were for boy!! I was convinced baby was a boy from day 1! I told Kameron the day we found out we were pregnant that it was a boy 😂

We did a private Facebook live for distant family that couldn't be there so they could feel included! Unfortunately I can NOT figure out how to NOT make it private now and share it on FB 😔

So once we got everyone outside Kam and I did a couple practice hits until he hit the practice ball into the ditch haha practice was over 😜 So like I was saying about the ultrasound tech, if I would have know how awesome the one we got was going to be I would have taken the baseballs with me and had her mark the correct one, she even said "You should have brought the balls with you and I would have marked the right one!" But since we didn't, right before the reveal I had Rachel look at the ultrasound the tech had put the gender on and bring us the right ball 😊 I was so nervous as soon as I saw her walking out! But Kam smashed it!!!! And...
PINK it was!!! I was sooooo surprised!!!! and in shock haha I felt like I was in shock for the rest of the night! I was so convinced the baby was a boy and had mentally prepared myself to be a boy mom, I kind of felt at a loss and like I wasn't sure how to be a girl mom 😜 As much as I was looking forward to T-ball and baseball, and not to say she can't play softball, I am excited to be having a baby girl!!
Check out Bentley's face 😂 He reeeeealy wanted a brother!
But he handled it very well! And got over that face real quick 😜
Paige's face looks a little questionable in this picture but she was so excited! As you can see in the next picture down she was jumping up and down!

The kids were done with pictures... haha we had just spend an hour posing for family pictures.. can't really blame them 😉
So baby's a girl!!! Now the fun begins!!! Clothes, Decor, Names... 🎉

Woolstenhulme Camp Out 2019

The first weekend of August we headed back to Bear Lake for our annual Woolstenhulme Camp Out!

We camped Friday, Saturday and Sunday and on the way home Sunday afternoon stopped to see my Grandma Skinner who Kameron hadn't even met and who I hadn't seen for a couple years!

We had a lot of fun playing in the dirt,
You can not even tell how dirty she really is!!!!
Such a weirdo! haha

picking huckleberries,
Seriously can never get a not weird smile 😜
Disregard the fly on Bentley's cheek 😂😂😂
Paige and I thought the huckleberries smelt soooo good!!
💗
playing with cousins,
Lillian brought this play pen for London and I think Paige loved it more!! haha

swinging on the hammock,
I think Paige's best friend during the whole camp out was Briston! or "Aboom" as she called him! haha even with probably a good 4 feet on her... guess size doesn't matter when it comes to friends!
and making smores!

💗
💕
Great Grandma Skinner has the coolest drum sets downstairs!! The kids loved playing them! She tried to talk us into taking them home.... it was a hard no from us 😜

💓
It was great to spend time with my family and really great to go visit my Grandma and Grandpa!!

Until next summer!!
