Skate Land, Pumpkin Carving, Birthday Parties, Snakes, Halloween.......... October!

This month was filled with a lot of fun things!!

The kids have been begging to go to Skate Land for ever so we finally were able to go! They have weird hours that we could never make work! But we finally were able to take them, and if we only would have known that it was superhero themed we could have worn our costumes and won a prize! But that's ok the prize wasn't that great anyways 😜 a Poindexters gift card haha! It's an old costume store downtown

All the pictures I took didn't turn out very good because of the lighting 😬
The motion didn't help either! Haha so don't mind the high quality pictures! 😜
Of course Dad and Bentley had to race!

In case you were wondering, the couple behind Kam were the ones who won the dress up contest.... So really.... we may not have been able to beat them even if we did dress up! 😜

Had to get a picture by Superman!
And of course we always have to get a picture together and then separate pictures haha

{10-16-19}
For Family Night we had a lesson on letting your light shine, carved Pumpkins and lit them up, (letting their light shine 😜), and had pumpkin chocolate chip cookies!
Look at those cuties!! Especially the one in the middle! 💗
I couldn't get a good smile out of Bentley, and the reeeeal reason was because there were a couple neighbor girls that had stopped by 😜 So of course he couldn't act like he was having a fun family night while they were watching him get his picture taken 😜

{10-22-19}
Our cousin Lexi turned 4 this month! So we went and celebrated with her at Gerties!

{10-26-19}
We went with Aunt Rachel and Lexi and Macy to Reptile Days! We got to see and hold a lot of cool reptiles! And when I say "we" I mean the kids and Kameron... haha I saw them but didn't touch any of them! 😜 Reptiles sick me out! haha

After Reptile Days we went to our subdivisions Halloween Party~ The Hometown Haunt! It was cold and windy, but we still had fun! We were in charge of a game and did Pin the Bone on the Skeleton... for as long as it lasted in the wind haha

{10-30-19}
We took the kids to Tubbs Berry Farm for family night and then got dessert at Sips! It was a little bit chilly at the farm but we still had fun! We had a lot of fun in the hay maze! We each got a punch card and not only did we try and find our way out, but we tried to find all 5 hold punchers (which all ended up being in dead ends of the maze), so we could get free popcorn! Haha we did pretty dang good but only found four before it was getting to dark and cold to continue 😔 So we had to find our way out before we could find the last one danget!

{10-31-19}
We didn't have the kids this year for Halloween, but we were able to go to Bentley's Halloween Parade at the school and then they did come trick or treat with us for a little bit 😊
During the parade they were practically running so we didn't get any good pictures of him but were lucky enough to see him out in the hall waiting to go back in his class as we left!
And of course I made Kam dress up again with me on actual Halloween 😜
And somewhere in the mix of all that fun we had in October, I graduated with my Bachelor Degree in Nursing!

And if that wasn't enough of a fun filled month... you can read my next post with an update on Baby! 😊 And our first (and hopefully LAST!) little scare with her!

!!Disneyland!!

The time had finally come to take the kids to Disneyland! We left early Wednesday morning to fly out of Boise. It was the kids first flight they really remember and they were so excited! They did really well and of course enjoyed the pop and cookies they got! We landed in LA, got our rental, drove to Anaheim, ate lunch, checked into our hotel and hit the park! We only had about half a day the first day but did as much as we could fit in to the hours we had left!
We were having too much fun to take pictures! So this is the only picture we got of the first day! Splash Mountain... Bentley said he loved it (not that you can tell 😉 ).... Paige did not. Haha We kinda ruined her by taking her on this the first day 😬

The next morning we wore our matching shirts! The kids wanted to wear them every day but figured we better not 😉 haha

We started off the morning meeting Mickey Mouse!

The kids both really wanted their picture by this Indian.... not sure why haha
And of course they had to get their own picture by the Indian, separately too 😉

We made our way to Toon Town, and we did a lot better taking pictures today! 😉
And I added this picture in there because..... Reality of taking kids to Disneyland! ^^^ 😜
Oh, we hit Space Mountain too! Haha If I remember right, after the ride Bentley acted like it was no big deal, but the picture! 😂 And Paige freaked out... but the picture.... you can't really see her, but she is just gawking off into space haha

The Third day we hopped parks and went to California Adventure!
Dad, Bentley and I left a little earlier that morning and hit Haunted Mansion and Pirates before Grandma and Paige came and met us at California Adventure!

Paige and I went on Inside Out while Grandma, Dad, and Bentley went on the new Dash Roller Coaster! They loved it! Even Bentley! I was so super surprised that he even went on it!
She was so excited that she got the rainbow unicorn one!
Just a picture Paige took that says it all!! About Disneyland and Life in general!! 💗
We couldn't talk the kids into going on Gardians of the Galaxy with us so Grandma was nice enough to take them on Monster's Inc. again while Kam and I went on Gardians!

 And again, because the reality of kids at Disneyland! 😜 ^^

Grandpa was able to reunite with us again later that evening!

Our last day we spent in California Adventure again!

We of course had to go see Anna and Elsa!
Paige was so excited!!
Bentley was NOT impressed 😜

The kids were kind of funny, they really had no interest in meeting or getting pictures with the characters! We saw a few but they never really wanted to stand in line to meet them
Dad, Grandma, and Grandpa had to go on the Dash coaster again!
Every single time we went on the Cars ride it broke down and we were stuck for a bit somewhere on the ride, so each time we went on it when we pulled back up to loading place they would ask us if we wanted to go again... so of course we did! So each time we went on it, we got to go twice!

And of course we had to end the trip with a picture by the big Mickey Pumpkin!!

We had a lot of fun! It was exhausting, but fun!

We're thinking Disney World next go-round!
