Miracles Happen!!

In both my April and May posts I said something about them being low key months.. which they kind of were, but kind of were NOT! Because I was pregnant!!

I found out I was pregnant on April 29th! Possible TMI but my cycles go anywhere from 25-45 days so there was a LONG gap I waited from when I should have started because it could have been anywhere from the 25th-45th day! But finally the 45th day came! 😜 Just kidding it was actually a day or two before the 45th day, but I was going to go to the chiropractor that day and figured if I was pregnant I better know so I could tell him that before he worked on me! So that morning while Kameron was getting ready for work I sneakily took the "dreaded" test! Yes dreaded because all I had ever gotten off those stupid things was 1 line! And had taken so many of them I despised taking them, but I took it and about died when I saw 2 SOLID, DARK LINES!!! I could NOT believe it! I had never seen 2 lines before and had wanted to for so long!! And it was even the cheap 88 cent test! 😜 I didn't want to waste a good one, because honestly I did not have high hopes that this would be an easy thing, or happen naturally for that matter! But it did!! And with one fallopian tube to boot! (TMI? Maybe I should have put a "discretion advised" in the beginning of this post 😜) Miracle's happen! And I am so blessed and thankful for this miracle!

Anyways, back to my post, so I took the test, GOT A POSITIVE, freaked out in the bathroom (quietly), composed myself, and went out and sent Kameron off to work 😊 Haha some of you may be confused by this and I was torn as well because I SOOO wanted to burst out screaming and tell him and share my excitement, but I had had a plan since January, and wanted to stick to it! So after he left for work I went about my day, went to the chiropractor, called my OB, scouted out my reveal plan to make sure it would go as planned and then waited for 7 to roll around!
Snapchat had the perfect filter!
I picked Kameron up from work and told him we were going on a date! We went to dinner and then I took him to the mall and we walked through until we got to the photo booth I had scouted out! We got in and after the first picture I pulled out a onsie that said "Daddy's little sidekick" and showed it to him. It was the best! Apparently the photo booth also takes a video for a few extra dollars, so I got that so we could re-watch the in between pictures and it is the best thing ever! I love it so much!!
 👇👇
So kind of just a funny side note about the first picture taken in the picture booth... In the video Kameron is telling me to look at the camera and pointing to it and I look at it for a second but then look right back up to the screen, and you can totally see the nervousness in me haha but the freaking lady explaining everything was long winded! 😜 Anyways, that's why I'm not looking at the actual camera... because I'm nervous, the lady is taking forever, and I'm trying to decide when to pull the onsie out haha and then the rest of them we aren't even looking at the camera at all.. haha so whatev
First "bump" picture! I may have started a little early 😜 but I don't care!
I have never had a fortune more true or accurate!!
~5/6/19~
Despite all the weekly pictures (which I kept up for a few weeks, and have now slacked off haha) I still couldn't believe I was actually pregnant! Actually I think I didn't let myself really believe it or get my hopes too high or real excited yet! And despite being nauseous all day every day and so dang tired all the time! Haha I didn't want to be let down before I actually saw an fetus with a heart beat in there! I guess that's the nurse in me, it could be ectopic, it could be a molar pregnancy, I could miscarry, so many things could go wrong! And also I just really couldn't believe I was actually pregnant, despite like I said earlier, the nausea, tiredness, and positive pregnancy test! It's so weird but I was so scared that I was going to go to the doctor and they were going to say, I don't know what caused that test to be positive, but you aren't pregnant. So I had a hard time letting myself believe it and be happy for the longest time!

My symptoms included: nausea all day every day, tiredness like I could take 1 or 2 naps a day and still sleep at night, haha, peeing a lot, and activity intolerance like doing something simple or taking a couple flights of stairs got me all sorts of winded! haha Before I tested I did notice that I was tired, but I'm a nurse-we are tired people haha our line of work is tiring! So I didn't really think anything of it, and slight nausea, but nausea is kind of a common thing for me, so didn't think anything about that either, haha the one that I really noticed and was like man this is weird, what is going on?! Is that I was hungry ALL. THE. TIME!! Haha I seriously felt like I was an endless pit and ate so much! haha

If you can't tell I am seriously SOOOO excited for this journey!! And excited to share it as well! Most all of my next posts though are probably not going to be near as long or have near as many pictures! Haha cuz like I said, I have already slacked off on taking pictures! 😬

But here's to the next 32 weeks! 🍼

Finally Some Summer Fun!

Early this month we took the kids on a hike down under the bridge to where to base jumpers land. After walking pretty far and realizing we were on the wrong trail, back tracking hiking the right trail (which was pretty long!), the heat and the kids freaking out about all the bugs... we finally made it! And considering all things, they actually did pretty good-it was a long hike for a kid especially! I was kind of worried we wouldn't see any base jumpers because the whole hike there I kept watching for them and never saw any, but we did catch a group of 4 I think that jumped! So that was fun to be under them when they jumped and then be right there were they landed to watch their technique! Bentley said he wanted to do that... that makes two of us bud! 😉
After we got home we were all due for a popsicle!

The next day we continued the fun and went swimming at Nat-Soo-Pah Hot Springs!
This Cutie has my Heart!!💗
Kam showing us all what's up with aerials off the diving board!
😍😍😍
💕
Next Stop-Bear Lake!

Not the actual lake yet but made a trip down to see my family for a few days! On the way down we met Lillian and London in Soda, grabbed Arctic Circle and played in the snow, hail, rain, and sun at the funnest park! That's Bear Lake weather for ya! haha

June 18th we went "swimming"again at the Filer pool, but seriously like 30 minutes after we got their they cleared everyone out for 30 minutes to shock the pool haha so we left and went and got snow cones and ran through the sprinkler instead!

And last but certainly not least! We took our first camping trip up Elk's Flat with Kam's family!
Just missing Daniel and Natalie's family!
Bentley "attempted" to pull his tooth out the whole time we were there but never succeeded
We were all this happy to be camping!! 😁

We went to the hot springs
💕

Played at the reservoir
😍
😍😍
Holding the corn hole floaty in between your legs while Justin hucks the bags is a good idea right ??
That smile though!! 😍
We took hikes, played bocce ball, just hung out, ate good food, and had a great time as a family!!

We missed you Daniel and Natalie! -Next Year!! 💗

~May~

May was a pretty low key month too, but my goal is to write a post every month... er go... ~May~

I only have a handful of pictures from May, but the main thing that happened was my hubby left me for 2 weeks!! Longest 2 weeks of my life!! Since we have been together, the longest we have been apart is 2-3 days, so 2 weeks was a jump! And it sucked! haha
Before Kam left for Virginia he was able to go to the dinner the Doc's hosted for nurses week with me!

Two days after Kam left it was Mother's Day and he was pretty bummed he wasn't going to be home so the next day I was surprised when I was mowing my lawn and around the corner came Dan, Rachel, Lexi and Macy carrying some flowers for me!
Made my day!
Made me cry!
You never cease to amaze me babe!💗

I don't remember much about the 2 weeks Kam was gone except we were both miserable, lonely, and couldn't wait until the day he came home!

He finally started his travels home on the 24th in the wee hours of the morning and after traveling all day and sitting in the SLC airport just 3 hours awake from me all night!! He finally made it home at about 3am the next morning!! I had luckily just gotten up to go to the bathroom and was laying in bed when I heard the garage door open! 💗💗💗
I'm good to not do that again for a year!! 😜

One fun thing we did do this month was take the kids to the monster truck show! I had never been to one, it was pretty fun!
It wasn't cold that day until the minute we sat down the wind picked up... Twin Falls 👌

But we still had fun!
